Cayman specialise in solving Fiat 500 C convertible roof problems
The Fiat 500C is a great, chic, small convertible whose looks are timeless and arguably the biggest reason to own one.
The fabric scrolling roof can be operated up or down at any speed, and there is also a sunroof setting, where it scrolls part way, leaving you protected from the wind, but still with the fresh air factor to enjoy open-top motoring.
Unlike the original Fiat 500’s canvas roof, this double-layered fabric top won’t leak or flap about. The fabric convertible hood features a rear glass window and the fabric was available in a choice of colours for cabriolet owners to personalise and style their truly retro vehicle.
Like all soft top cabriolets they have their faults and in particular, lack of attention to care and maintenance can lead to water ingress and the usual electrical and mechanical faults caused by water damage on the operational roof system.
